A day at Crowder District Park offers visitors a variety of recreation and educational opportunities. Located on 33-acres of gently rolling wooded land, visitors can easily forget the busy city life that surrounds them.
The site was graciously donated to the citizens of Wake County in 1992 by Mrs. Doris P. Crowder, a strong supporter of public parks. Facilities on this site were built using funds provided by the 1993 bond referendum.
