Wake County Parking Deck

The current Wake County parking deck opened Monday, February 16, 2009, replacing the former Garland H. Jones deck, which closed Friday, February 13, 2009, and has since been demolished.

Location:
The Wake County parking deck is located at 216 W. Cabarrus St., on the corners of Davie, McDowell and Cabarrus streets. The nine-level deck (P1 through P9) has two entrances and three exits. Vehicular entrances are located on Cabarrus and Davie streets.

Hours:
Open 24 hours/7 days a week. Attendant on duty from 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Deck Operator: McLaurin Parking

Payment options:

1. Pay the attendant: Cash, debit & credit cards are accepted; checks are not accepted.
2. Pay-on-Foot: To ease the line when exiting the deck, the visiting public will be reminded to keep their parking ticket and pay at one of our pay-on-foot systems. For convenience, these machines are located in both McDowell Street lobbies. Cash, debit and credit cards are accepted.
3. Pay in Lane: Credit and debit cards are accepted at these units located at all exits. Cash is not accepted at these locations.
