Adoption Center Hours of Operation:

*Wake County Animal Center is closed to the public on the
first Wednesday of each month for deep-cleaning and maintenance.

Monday through Saturday
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Extended Hours
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Sundays: 1-4 p.m.

Driving Directions from Raleigh:

• From I-440 E/US-64E (Beltline), take Exit 13B labeled "Knightdale Hwy 64E-Business"    
• Travel approximately one mile, turn right onto Corporation Parkway
• At stop sign, turn right onto Commerce Park Drive
• Take a left onto Beacon Lake Drive 
• Shelter is the first driveway to the left

Jurisdiction

Wake County Animal Control does not have jurisdiction on animals running loose or animals creating a nuisance within the city limits of Cary, Garner, Holly Springs or Raleigh. The animal control contact numbers for these municipalities are as follows:
