About Wake County LME

Mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services are managed in the community through a Local Management Entity (LME) office. The LME has a relationship with service providers to ensure that quality services are provided to consumers. Wake County LME's responsibilities include offering consumers 24/7/365 access to services, developing and overseeing providers, and handling consumer complaints and grievances.
