Cary Teen Council

New Voters Project
Even if you are not old enough to vote yet, it’s important to get informed. This nonpartisan site offers information on voters’ rights, how to register once you’ve turned 18, and why it is so important to use your right to vote.

Raleigh Youth Council
The Raleigh Youth Council is for teens and is run by teens. They focus their involvement on civic engagement, leadership opportunities, community service, recreation and fundraising as well as special events.

Student Election Assistant Program
The Board of Elections recruits high school students to serve as paid precinct officials in most elections. Student Election Assistants receive training and work with regular precinct officials at Wake County polling places on Election Day.

Triangle Teens
The Triangle Teens website seeks to provide a comprehensive round-up of local/national news, stories, trends, reports, events, opinions, photographs and videos about and for teenagers who live in the greater Triangle region of North Carolina. All original content and story ideas are welcome.
