Cameron Village Regional Library

  • Teen Thing
    Thursdays from 3-5 p.m.

    Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

    Meets the first and third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

East Regional Library
  • East Region Teen Art Explosion Results!
    Teens from Knightdale, Wake Forest, Wendell and Zebulon showed off their many artistic talents at our annual Teen Art Explosion! See a list of the participants and the winners! on the second page
  • Pizza and Pages!
    Tuesdays @ 4 p.m.: August 5 right after TLC meetings
    Come hang out, eat pizza and talk about books and other stuff. Also, there will be pizza. The books for this summer haven't been chosen yet. Check here for more info soon. Don't forget about the pizza!
  • Get Involved!
    Teen Library Corps TLC ages 13-18
    Tuesdays @ 3 p.m.: 8/5
    Join East Regional Library’s TLC! Plan activities for teens, help librarians and earn community service hours. Members must attend weekly meetings and teen library events. Stop by the Youth Services desk to pick up an application or download it.
  • Teen Volunteering, ages 12 and up
    Help out @ the library and earn community service hours! Up to 10 volunteers work one day per week up to two hours, Monday through Friday. Teens may volunteer for a three-month period with the next session beginning July 1-September 30, followed by October 1-December 31. Stop by the Youth Services desk to pick up an application or download it!

Eva Perry Regional Library
  • Metamorphosis Teen Summer Reading Finale House Party!  (Middle and High School)
    Saturday, August 16, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Cameron Village Library
    Eva Perry teens are invited to celebrate the end of summer at a special after-hours teen event at Cameron Village Library.  Teens from all over the county will be there for video gaming, food and drinks, an art gallery, an altered book station, board games, and a grand prize drawing.  Don't miss the fun!
  • Teen Library Council (Middle and High School)
    Thursday, August 21, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
    Come join this group of teens that will plan events for the library!
  • Teen Movie Night (Middle and High School)
    Friday, August 29, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
    Come see a 1980s movie about a famous superhero.  He lives a double life as a millionaire playboy by day and a caped hero by night.  The film is rated PG-13 for mild language and mild sensuality.  Popcorn will be served.  Free tickets will be handed out beginning 15 minutes before show time.
  • Mock Newbery Book Club (Grades 6-9)
    Book club members meet regularly from April through January to discuss current books and compile a list of books they feel should be contenders for the Newbery Award.   • Mock Printz Award Book Club (Grades 9-12)
    Book club members meet regularly from April through January to discuss current books and compile a list of books they feel should be contenders for the Printz Award.
