The East Regional Library closed on Sunday, November 26, 2017 for renovations.

The library is being refurbished with carpet, paint, new furnishings and an updated floor plan. The renovation is part of the 2007 Wake County Capital Improvement Plan to build, expand, repair and renovate libraries. It is anticipated that the library will reopen in Spring 2018.

The book return will remain open through Friday, December 8. After that time, library users are encouraged to visit any of the other library locations within Wake County Public Libraries.
