​​Wake County Public Libraries will be upgrading the library systems on [insert date/ time].

During this time period the main library systems, including book check-in and checkout, patron account information, book searches, and the telephone renewal system, will all be offline. Staff will be able to check out materials with the use of a backup utility. Please bring your library card, since staff will not be able to look up your library account.
 
Public access PCs and the library databases are not effected by this upgrade and will be available.
 
The following is a detailed listing what and how services will be impacted:
 
Main library system
  • Book check-in and checkout are offline. Staff will be able to check-out materials with the use of a backup utility. Please bring your library card, since staff will not be able to look up your library account.
  • Account access is offline. Staff will not be able to reconcile fines or fees.
  • Requests – Staff will not be able to place requests during the upgrade.
Catalog
  • The catalog will be offline. Book searching and account access will not be available until the upgrade has completed.

Telephone Renewal

  • Telephone renewal will be offline until the upgrade has completed.
OneSearch
  • Our magazine and article search service, OneSearch, will be available.
Self-Checkout stations
  • Self-checkout will be offline until the upgrade has completed.
Download Library
  • You will be able to search and download materials from the OverDrive site.
Public Access PCs
  • Public Access PCs are not affected by this upgrade and will be available for public use.
