Nonprofit Resource Center

Foundation Center

The Nonprofit Resource Center (NRC) offers unique research materials on a wide array of topics of interest to the nonprofit sector. As a member of the Foundation Center's nationwide network of libraries, community foundations and other nonprofit agencies, the NRC provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker and grant directories, books on fundraising, grantwriting and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center's electronic databases.

The NRC is now located at the Olivia Raney Local History & Research Library. Although the print collections are located here, both the Olivia Raney and the Cameron Village Library locations will both offer access to its unique database “Foundation Directory Online” to support grant seeking for nonprofit organizations. The Grants to Individuals and the Philanthropy Insights are located only at the new location.

The NRC is available anytime the library is open. Appointments are available for those who wish to have an orientation to the collection and its uses or to schedule a meeting with the Collection Supervisor and Library branch Manager, Susan Wolf Neilson.
