Olivia Raney Library has complete copies of The State magazine issued during the World War II period. It also has a collection of books on World War II with call numbers from 940.51 to 940.549. In addition, various county histories include information on World War II and its impact on the county. Several local universities covered the home front and campus military activities in their annuals. Some annuals are available in our closed stacks.

The Olivia Raney Library has microfilm of the Raleigh News and Observer and The Raleigh Times covering the World War II period.
