Using Databases Outside of the Library

To access our databases outside of a library you must be a registered Wake County Public Library user, have your library card number, and a PIN (Personal Identification Number). If you need a PIN, call your local branch or get one the next time you visit the library.

You will be asked to enter your card number and PIN each time you access a different database on this page. If you prefer to enter this information only once, try accessing the databases through our catalog.

Databases that cannot be used outside of a library are noted.
