The Melinda Awards
The Melinda Awards are chosen by Raleigh area teen bookclubs each year.  See teens talk about their favorite books in videos from the 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 award ceremonies. (These take several minutes to download, but are worth the wait!)

The 2009 Margaret A. Edwards Award for Best Literature Program for Teens
Our club leader, Valerie Nicholson, won the 2009 MAE Award for Best Literature Program for Teens!  This is a huge and very well-deserved honor. Find out more about it from the ALA Press Release and the Cary News.

The YA Galley Project
Our club was chosen as one of 15 clubs nationwide to participate in the YA Galley project, where teens read advance copies of new teen fiction and nominate titles for the YALSA Teen's Top Ten awards. Read more about it on the ALA website.
