Residents can now spend more time at Wake County Public Libraries branches. As of Sept. 1, 2019, all Regional and Community Libraries will have expanded hours and Athens Drive, Duraleigh Road, Southgate, Wendell and Zebulon Community Libraries will have Sunday hours.

This means more time to browse our catalog, find your new favorite book or attend a fun program.

The new hours are as follows:

Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday 1 – 5 p.m.

All libraries except for the Express Library Fayetteville St. and Olivia Raney Local History Library will follow these hours. Special thanks to the Wake County Board of Commissioners and Wake County Library Commission for making the new hours possible.
