Library Commission

The Wake County Library Commission is an advisory board appointed by the Wake County Board of Commissioners. The Commission currently is made up of 14 members. Each Commission member is appointed to represent a County Commissioner's District, or to represent the County at-large or a district appointment. The role of the Commission is to advise the County Commissioners on matters of policy and program affecting the public library system. They meet monthly on the third Wednesday at noon at the Library Administration Building, 4020 Carya Drive in Raleigh.
