Electronic Plan Review
Are you ready to submit plans for review? If so, Wake County offers you the opportunity to submit these plans electronically in just a few easy steps.
Enrollment and Submission Process
New clients should enroll first. Enrollment requires the designer's name, company, phone, and email. Once enrolled, Plan Review will process that enrollment and send a unique PIN for plan submission and the title block that must be sent with the drawings. This PIN will arrive by e-mail. The title block is available for download below.
Attached is and AutoCAD drawing file for the Plan Review Title Block that is required to be on each submitted plan. Please detach it by right-clicking and choosing "Save As..." or "Save Link As." You will need to unzip the file once it has downloaded.

Clients use the PIN to give them access to submit plans online. Each submission online can contain only one file. This file should contain a DXF file or other AutoCAD standard format. If there is more than one file, they should be zipped together into one file.

Plan Review Procedures and Help Guide
Plan Review will "redline" the received drawing(s) using a CAD viewer. The reviewed files will be sent back to the client via e-mail. Clients with files needing a resubmission, need only to submit the revised plans like the first.
