Medicaid is a health insurance program that serves children, adults and families. Family and Children's Medicaid covers children, parents, pregnant women and family planning services. Adult Medicaid covers aged, blind and disabled individuals.
What does Health Care reform mean for Medicaid? More people will be eligible for Medicaid beginning in 2014. Individuals under 133% of the poverty level will qualify and adults under 65 who do not have minor children will not have to be disabled to be eligible.
