Wake County's Millbrook Human Services Center opens Wednesday, April 1, 2009. The Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
The East Millbrook Road location allows Wake County to bring programs and services closer to residents in the Brentwood/Mini City area of North Raleigh. Services include:
- WIC (Women, Infants and Children)
- Child Care Subsidy
- Child Service Coordination
- HIV/STD Program
- Health Promotions
- Immunizations
- Community Affairs

The Center also will serve as a JobLink Information Site, with six computers available, where citizens can conduct Internet job searches and meet with an employment advisor by appointment. A nurse practitioner will be offering limited clinical services on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The County’s Ready to Learn program will offer activities to children who accompany their parents to the Center, and the Mary E. Wilson Foundation will conduct computer literacy classes.
