Each month we will present a series of workshops designed to assist consumers with budgeting, credit and rental issues. All workshops are open to the public. Please make arrangements for childcare.

Ready To Rent Program

'Educating Families is the Key to Success'

Are you tired of renting housing in unsafe neighborhoods?

Do you have credit or criminal problems that prevent you from obtaining decent housing?

Wake County's Ready To Rent Program in partnership with Wake Technical College provides consumers with:

12 hours of tenant education
Information about tenant rights & responsibilities
Action steps towards repairing credit and finding housing
Referrals to landlords who take Ready To Rent graduates (for qualified participants)

Note: If accepted into the Program, there is a $25 nonrefundable fee. Preregistration is required. If you have additional questions please call 919-231-5957.
