HIV/STD Prevention Education Programs & Services
The HIV/STD Community Program's health education team provides effective prevention services for a wide range of audiences. Programs and classes are free and available in English and Spanish. If you would like to request educational services, such as classes or health information pertaining to HIV/STDs, including brochures, etc., please complete this request form and fax to Gladys Bonilla, supervisor of the HIV/STD education team, at 919-212-7400.
Condom Distribution Sites (CDS)
The CDS program provides free condoms and educational materials to participating barber shops, beauty salons, tattoo parlors, laundry mats, markets, and other local businesses. These community partners volunteer to display CDS materials free of charge to improve community members' access to condoms and education and testing information.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our program offers great opportunities to get involved in HIV/STD prevention efforts in Wake County.
HIV/STD Counseling and Testing services
Our trained counselors provide convenient, confidential HIV/STD testing services at a variety of community locations throughout Wake County.
HIV/AIDS Case Management services
We provide comprehensive medical and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS in Wake County.
