HIV Clinical Services
The HIV Clinic provides:
- Outpatient primary and HIV medical care (including medical exams, laboratory testing as needed, women's health, teen health and treatment of HIV infections)
- Nutritional Counseling (to make sure you're eating the right foods)
- Adherence Counseling (to help you stay on your medications)
- Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling
- Clinical Trials
- Case Management
To be eligible for services you must be:
- A Wake County resident
- HIV positive
We accept Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not fully cover HIV services, you will be asked to pay a fee depending on your income and family size.

Services are provided in Clinic A of the Public Health Center, located at 10 Sunnybrook Road in Raleigh (next to WakeMed Hospital).
Clinic Hours:
Mondays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We provide services that will improve the quality of life for persons living with HIV/AIDS by addressing their medical, psychiatric and social needs.
