Wake County's HIV/STD Community Program offers a comprehensive continuum of care including prevention education, HIV/STD counseling and testing, and treatment and supportive services for people with HIV/AIDS.


Our services include:


HIV/STD Outreach and Education

Our health education and outreach team works with individuals, groups, partner agencies and communities throughout Wake County to provide HIV/STD prevention education and connect individuals with testing and treatment services.

HIV/STD Counseling and Testing

Our trained counselors provide convenient, confidential HIV/STD testing services at a variety of community locations throughout Wake County.

Services for People with HIV/AIDS

We provide comprehensive medical and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS in Wake County.

New Programs:

Parents Matter

Parents Matter! is a five-session program designed to help parents:

  • Enhance protective parenting practices and promote parent-child discussions about sexuality and sexual risk reduction
  • Overcome common parent-child communication barriers
  • Enhance existing parenting skills.
  • The program is free and open to parents with teens and pre-teens.
