HIV/AIDS Case Management information

Testing

Wake County’s HIV/STD program offers free testing for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea. Services are provided at the Human Services building at 10 Sunnybrook Road in Raleigh, and at designated community testing sites. Please refer to the following list for testing days, times and locations.

MONDAYS Wake County Human Services Public Health Center - Clinic E 10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh 8:30-11 a.m. (HIV and syphilis testing only. For other STD screenings, visit Clinic A. See below for more information) Women's Center (2nd and 4th Monday) 128 E. Hargett St., Raleigh 1-3 p.m. (HIV, syphilis, chlamydia & gonorrhea testing) TUESDAYS Wake County Human Services Public Health Center - Clinic E 10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh 8:30-11 a.m. (HIV and syphilis testing) WEDNESDAYS Wake County Human Services Public Health Center - Clinic E 10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh 8:30 a.m.-11 a.m. & 5-6:30 p.m. (HIV and syphilis testing only) Wake County Human Services Millbrook Human Services Center  2809 E. Screening for other STDs

Please note that only HIV and syphilis testing is offered in Clinic E. Our community sites provide testing for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Please visit Clinic A (on the first floor of the Sunnybrook Road building) for testing and treatment for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis ("trick") and HIV. Clinic A is only able to treat herpes and genital warts (HPV) outbreaks; screening tests are not available for herpes and genital warts if no symptoms are present.

You do not need to make an appointment to be seen at Clinic A; however, clients are attended to on a first-come, first-served basis, so try to arrive early.

Clinic A (STD Clinic) Walk-In Hours

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: Sign in at 8:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.
  
• Tuesday: Sign in at 9:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.
  
• Wednesday night clinic: Sign in at 4:30 p.m.
