Newborn Home Visits
Home visits are provided to newly delivered women and their newborns who:
- Received prenatal care through WCHS Prenatal Clinic
- Received prenatal care through WakeMed High Risk Clinic
- Delivered through private doctors' offices and receive Medicaid benefits
- Delivered with no prenatal care.
Clients receive:
- Physical assessments
- Parental education and support
- Information about community resources
- Interventions designed to promote family health and well-being.
