Weekly Group Classes for Breastfeeding (English and Spanish)

WIC prenatal and breastfeeding clients are routinely offered breastfeeding classes, and Wake County residents are also welcome to attend free of charge.  Dads and other family members are welcome, too.  Breastfeeding classes are scheduled every week in English and Spanish.  Classes are taught by WIC Nutritionists who are also International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) or Certified Breastfeeding Educators.  All classes are held in the Public Health Center, room G35-C at 10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh.  For more information, call the main WIC phone number at 919-250-4720, and select option “6” from the menu to leave a message for a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor who will return your call.
