Family Support Services is a group of dedicated social workers trained to work WITH families in our community to support their efforts to achieve realistic goals!
By utilizing a Family-Centered approach, each family identifies and creates their own path for change in partnership with their social worker.
Family-focused events such as monthly support groups for relatives raising children other than their own (i.e.. 'relative caregivers'), book bag giveaways, holiday celebrations, tutoring, and other events are all designed to maximize the potential of the families we work with!
Through the work of Family Support Services and our community partners, many children remain in their family homes rather than being placed in the care of strangers or other relatives.
