Youth Fair Day


October 3, 2009
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Join us Saturday, October 3, for a free event at Historic Oak View Park in Raleigh!

Youth Fair Day is part of the annual Heritage Day celebration at Historic Oak View Park and features youth arts, crafts and talent entries, as well as livestock and animal shows.

The event is free and open to the public.

All ages are welcome!

Parking is free and will be in the main parking lot for the Agricultural Services and Commons Buildings. Hayride wagons will run between Youth Fair Day and the parking lot!

Food and drinks will be sold on site!

Youth Fair Entries

Youth ages 5 to 19 may enter any of the Youth Fair Day Contests. Links to the Youth Fair Registration Book will be up soon!  Craft and food entries are dropped off prior to the event, and livestock, animal shows and talent showcase events happen on-site during Youth Fair Day.

Design the 2009 Youth Fair Day T-Shirt

Calling all artists! YOU could have your design featured on the 2008 Youth Fair Day T-shirt!  Entries should represent the theme of "We are 4-H:  100 Years of Green and Growing."  Entry form and further details on this contest will be posted very soon!
