Record Books
Record Books are used to record the 4-Her's work on a particular project during a given year.
Record Books should span a 12-month period from January through December, regardless of the club's calendar.
Age for Record Books is determined as of January 1, 2011.
(Example: A 4-Her who turns 16 on January 2, 2011, still needs to complete a 13–15-Year-Old book.)
Books should focus on ONE project area (animals, leadership, community service, etc.) and a 4-Her can submit more than one book each year.

Record Book Forms
Horse Addendum
The Wake County 4-H Horse Council requires that youth doing Horse Record Books also complete the following additional Record Book components. Youth should add these sections to the Record Book forms (above) before turning in the completed project. These sections will be removed before the Record Books go on to District competition, as the District and State levels of Record Book competition do not require these additions.
Cumulative Record Book Forms
Cumulative Records cover multiple years of 4-H work. We will be posting more info on this page soon related to the basics of 4-H Cumulative Records, so check back soon.
