"We are here to help you and your family to develop to your fullest potential."
~ Ramon Rojano
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Wake County Department of Human Services. Our Mission is to provide high quality services to our citizens as well as opportunities for our citizens to improve and maintain a good quality of life. We are here to help you and your family to develop to your fullest potential.
When you or your family is facing a crisis or you have a need to access services, we are here, ready to assist and work with you. We are the only integrated Human Services Agency in North Carolina. Thus, we are able to serve you with an integrated approach that responds to your public health, social services and behavioral health needs while focusing on your strengths. We can also help you accomplish your goals and dreams through our Human Capital Development programs. These programs focus on helping you to achieve socioeconomic and professional progress that will lead to a better quality of life for you and your family.
We are fortunate to have motivated and qualified employees here to help you. They are not just professionals, but committed citizens who dedicate their lives to making a difference in this community. But we don’t work alone; we carry out our mission through partnerships with public and private agencies, with the community and with your participation.
