Wake County Human Services is the consolidation of programs and services formerly carried out by several separate departments and offices: Social Services, Public Health, Mental Health, Job Training, Child Support, Housing and Transportation.
Mission Statement Wake County Human Services, in partnership with the community, will anticipate and respond to the public health, behavioral health and the economic and social needs of Wake County residents. We will coordinate and sustain efforts that assure safety, equity, access and well-being for all.
