Breastfeeding Classes
Weekly Group Classes for Breastfeeding (English and Spanish)
WIC prenatal and breastfeeding clients are routinely offered breastfeeding classes, and Wake County residents are also welcome to attend. Dads and other family members are welcome, too. Breastfeeding classes are scheduled every Wednesday and Thursday. Classes are taught by nutritionists who are also International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) or Certified Breastfeeding Educators. For more information call the general WIC phone number, 919-250-4720, and select option “6” from the menu to speak with a Breastfeeding Counselor or leave a message for a counselor to return your call.
