2009 Women's Forum

2009 Women's Forum Wake County is hosting a Women’s Forum, “Women on the Move,” on Saturday, August 15, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the WakeMed Andrews Center, 3000 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. The event is free. Attendees are asked to donate new toiletries, which will be donated to Passage Home, a local nonprofit community development corporation. The forum is for women striving toward middle class status and economic self-sufficiency. Topics that will be covered include: Healthy Relationships, Healthy Lifestyles, Personal Safety, Financial Planning, and more. Registration is limited, and the deadline to register is July 31, 2009.
