Wake County Human Services, in partnership with the community, will facilitate full access to high quality and effective health and human services for Wake County residents.
To ensure citizen involvement, the department's board is composed of consumers, citizens, physicians, professionals and a county representative. The Human Services board consists of 19 members and also advises the Department of Environmental Services for Wake County.
