Help With Viewing GIS Wake / Franklin County Site

PROBLEMS VIEWING SITE

The Wake /Franklin County Line iMAPS site works best with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher. If you must use a lower screen resolution, please use one of these links to access the site:

PARCEL SEARCH

Search for a parcel by Owner, Address, Pin/Parcel Number or REID/Record Number (Search Tools are on the left side of the screen). If the parcel is one of the affected parcels - the map will zoom to that parcel, the parcel will be highlighted in green and select parcel information will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

Please note: The search tools only work on affected parcels. If the parcel is one of the surrounding parcels, the search tools will not return a result.

IDENTIFY TOOL

To see select information on a parcel, please use the Identify Tool . Information will be returned on the right side of the screen.

To use: Click on the Identify Tool, then click on the parcel. Information will be returned on the right side of the screen.

SELECT AFFECTED PARCEL TOOL

To see select information on a parcel, please use the Select Affected Parcel Tool . If the parcel is one of the Affected Parcels, Information will be returned on the right side of the screen. Information will not be returned using this tool for surrounding parcels (use the Identify Tool for Surrounding Parcels).

To use: Click on the Select Affected Parcel Tool, then click on the parcel. Information will be returned on the right side of the screen.

LEGEND

Click on Legend on the left side of the screen to see a legend for the layers that are turned on.

TURNING ON/OFF LAYERS

Click the box next to a layer to turn it on. Uncheck the box next to the layer to turn it off.

AERIAL PHOTOS

The Aerial Photos will only turn on when you are zoomed in (for performance reasons).
