On Aug. 6, 2018, the Fuquay-Varina Town Board adopted a resolution requesting that the Wake County Board of Commissioners consider granting extension of the town’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) by 22,039 acres.

Land Use Committee

Wake County Planning, Development & Inspections is currently reviewing the town's request in accordance with the adopted Wake County Land Use Plan ETJ policies. In complying with the county's review process, the Wake County Planning Board Land Use Committee held two public meetings. Materials from those meetings can be found below.
