Inspections

There are nearly 3,800 permitted establishments in Wake County that require more than 12,000 inspections annually. The County's Environmental Health Specialists (health inspectors) assess risk factors in facilities that are most likely to result in illness, including poor handwashing, contamination and improper food temperatures.

The inspection results and reports are available online shortly after the inspection is completed.
