Lodging (Hotels and Motels)

Good sanitation in hotels and motels is important to public health. Examples include spread of germs by not cleaning or sanitizing properly, bedbugs, etc. Hotels and motels are inspected once a year to ensure that the public's stay is as safe and healthy as possible.
