Local Confinement (Jails)
Proper sanitation in jails is important because of crowding, which puts inmates at higher risk of getting certain diseases. Germs are easily spread among inmates because they live so close together.
Local confinement facilities are inspected once a year. The current sanitation status of a local confinement facility can be found online.
