Wake County’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) System will celebrate 120 survivors of cardiac arrest from calendar year 2017 with two special events during National EMS Week. No other community in the U.S. benefits from a higher cardiac arrest survival rate.

Monday, May 21, 8 a.m.–noon
Wake County EMS Station 1 Open House

Stop by for a visit at EMS Station 1, on Davie Street at McDowell Street in downtown Raleigh. See an ambulance, learn about EMS, get a CPR refresher and pick up a piece of fresh fruit.

We with Wake County Human Services Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention for blood pressure checks and information on healthy living.

Code: Celebrate! 2018 
12th Annual Cardiac Arrest Save Celebration
Reynolds Coliseum, NCSU Campus 

The annual celebration is free and open to the public. It will be held at Reynolds Coliseum on NCSU Campus in Raleigh, and will recognize cardiac arrest survivors and responders.
 
Hear from Survivor Ty Solomon and Coach Murray Garvin of South Carolina State University.
