Wake EMS Celebrates 30 Years of Service

9/10/2006

Wake County EMS celebrated its 30th anniversary with former and current employees and their families. The celebration took place September 9th and 10th at Raleigh’s Pullen Park. The festivities were held over two days to allow employees on all shifts to participate.

“It was an opportunity to see old friends again,” said District Chief and event organizer Randy Moore. “It also served as a reminder of how far we have come in providing EMS service.”

Festivities included games and activities for the kids, BBQ pork, displays of “old” equipment, and just good old fellowship. Over 150 current and former employees participated in the two-day celebration.
