Stroke
A stroke, or brain attack, occurs when a blood vessel inside the brain becomes clogged or bursts. This causes an interruption of blood flow to that area of the brain. If the blood flow is not restored, brain cells die. When brain cells die, abilities which that area of the brain once controlled are lost.
