Wake EMS 100 Day Heart Safe AED CampaignDuring the 100-day campaign, Wake County EMS hopes to increase the availability of public access Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in our community and to register all public AEDs throughout our community. The 100 day campaign runs from May 14 through August 24, 2012.
Wake County has partnered with three local AED vendors to provide purchase incentives to businesses and groups participating in the campaign.

It is clearly established that bystander chest compressions without the effort to provide mouth to mouth can effectively sustain a person in cardiac arrest until professional help arrives.
