An applicant for employment with Wake County Government who feels he/she
has been discriminated against because of race, color, religion, national
origin, gender, age, or disability may file a grievance.
The Equal Employment Review Committee (EERC) shall conduct an investigation
of the allegation.
The Equal Employment Review Committee shall forward the results
of its investigation, together with its recommendation, to the County
Manager. The County Manager will consider the merits of the applicant's
allegation, the results of the EERC's investigation as well as its
recommendation, and render a decision.
