Tuition Reimbursement / Educational Involvement Leave
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
The County encourages professional development for all employees to continually increase their knowledge and expertise. Based on department discretion, employees may be reimbursed for eligible educational fees. Consideration may also be granted for a leave of absence to pursue educational opportunities.
- Reimbursement for tuition and books upon successful completion of course
EDUCATIONAL INVOLVEMENT LEAVE
Used for time away from work in an approved school setting to assist in tutorial programs, serve as a guest lecturer, or to attend parent-teacher conferences or other school-supported activities
The County matches up to eight hours. The Employee uses unused holiday or annual leave.
