Assistant County Manager Chris Dillon is responsible for researching and monitoring current legislation, coordinating County lobbyist’s efforts and developing and maintaining positive relationships with other governments.

Dillon was selected in February 2015. He most recently served as the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Wildlife Resources Commission. He has 17 years of state and local government policy experience specializing in energy, environment, transportation, agriculture, education and economic development.

Dillon is a graduate of both Leadership NC and the UNC School of Government’s Public Executive Leadership Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree from Campbell University in Political Science.
