The BAC meets the fourth Thursday of every month from 9-10:30 a.m. Note: In July the Executive Committee meets. November and December meetings are combined as an Open House the first week in December.

Wake Area Business Advisory Council members, as well as staff from the Swinburne JobLink Career Center, are available to conduct workshops, make presentations and/or participate in expos or job fairs upon request. To schedule a speaker, please complete and submit the "Speaker Request Form."

Business Expo '09

Members of the Business Advisory Council participated in The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Business Expo in May 2009. The Expo provides an excellent venue for business members to network with one another and to learn more about the BAC as well as the Swinburne JobLink Career Center.

Job seekers find employment opportunities at a BAC-sponsored job fairThe 2009 Changing Faces conference is currently being planned. This joint effort will be led by Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association for 2009. Members of the Business Advisory Council will help plan and actively participate in this exciting conference. This event will be sponsored by Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association.
