| Formed in June 2006, the Citizens’ Facilities Advisory Committee is charged with evaluating the WCPSS capital improvement program and evaluating school design criteria, construction management and delivery methods. Initially, the committee will review WCPSS’ facility program. However, the work of the committee is long-term and also includes reviewing Wake County capital projects.
The Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education appointed 13 individuals to serve as members of the committee. Committee members include persons with experience in corporate leadership, architecture and engineering, financial management, and public administration. Business, government and the nonprofit sector are represented on the committee. Click below for more information.
