2010 Fiscal Year Budget

The 2010 Fiscal Year Recommended Budget was presented to the Board of Commissioners by County Manager David Cooke on Monday, May 18, 2009, and adopted on June 15. You can view archived videos of the budget presentation and the budget adoption.

The 2010 budget maintains the property tax rate at 53.4 cents and includes the elimination of more than 100 positions, the majority of which are vacant. View the adopted budget document here.

On April 5, 2010, the Board of Commissioners voted to amend the FY10 budget to accommodate for further reductions in the current year totaling $16,621,159, bringing the amended budget for FY10 down to $936,978,841.
