2003 Bond Referenda Information
 
Wake County voters were asked, and approved on October 7, 2003, for the County to issue general obligation bonds in the amounts of:
      • $450 million for school construction
      • $35 million for public library facilities
Growth in Wake County required that we build these facilities. No tax increase was required for construction of these buildings.
