Item Title: Appointments to Boards, Commissions and Committees

Specific Action Requested: That the Board of Commissioners make appointments to the following advisory boards.

a. Wake County Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee

b. Wake County Board of Adjustment

c. Wake County Board of Human Services

d. Wake County Criminal Justice Partnership Advisory Committee

e. Wake County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee

f. Wake County Economic Development Commission

g. Wake County Fire Commission

h. Juvenile Crime Prevention Council

i. City of Raleigh Housing Appeals Board

j. Zebulon Planning and Zoning Board

Item Summary: Each month the Board of Commissioners makes appointments to a number of advisory boards. A list of vacancies due to deferments, expiring terms and/or resignations has been provided for consideration at the August 2, 2004 meeting.
