Parenting Counts Workshops

Parenting Counts Workshops are designed to focus on early learning for parents of children birth to five*.

The workshops help parents discover ways to:

• Encourage their child's learning
• Build vocabularies
• Use their environment to develop language
• Recognize and understand their baby's cues
• Use their behavior to teach the lessons they want their child to learn.

Workshops are free and offered in various locations throughout the county. Please refer to the attached Parenting Counts flyer for additional information.

Note: Childcare providers participating may receive 1.5 contact hour credit.

*Expectant parents are encouraged to attend.
